Lyman Goetsch joined the Thomas County Community Foundation in September of 2004 in order to help the people of Thomas County become aware of an organization dedicated to helping them and to pass on their assets to their family and community.  Lyman serves on the Grants Committee and helped with the Hunt in January of 2006, the Fair Breakfast at the Thomas County Free Fair in August of 2006, and helped to promote our new investment policy dinner with Pete Peterson in May of 2007.

Lyman has been a member of the Brewster Lions Club for 45 years and a member of the Brewster United Methodist Church for 48 years.  He lives in Brewster with his wife, JoAnne, on the same farm that his grandfather purchased in 1906.  Lyman and JoAnne's daughter has 2 daughters of her own, and their son has three sons.
