Sherrie Wideman has been with the TCCF since November of 2001 with hopes to continue t o make Thomas County in western Kansas a great place to live and raise a family.  She was elected Secretary of the Board at the Annual Board Meeting in October of 2005 and then elected as Vice President in October of 2008.  Sherrie is Chair of the Asset Development and Marketing Committee and helped set up the Colby Beautification/ Wiedeman Fund that will be used to better area parks and public areas in Thomas County.  Sherrie also helped with both of the annual Santa's Workshop events, Fair Breakfast at the Thomas County Free Fair, and the Hunt, as well as helping to raise the initial funds used to establish the TCCF in 2001.

Sherrie grew up in Colby and graduated from Colby High School, receiving her Elementary and Middle School Education Degree from the University of Kansas.  She is a member of the Sacred Heart Church and the KS Alumni Association.  

Sherrie helps out at her family's businesses: Triple T Farms, Inc. and Tubbs and Sons Ford Sales.  She and her husband, Brent, have a young son, Bryant, and just welcomed thier newest addition to the family, Brady, on January 23, 2008.
