Sherrie Wiedeman has been with the TCCF since November of 2001 with hopes to continue t o make Thomas County in western Kansas a great place to live and raise a family.  She was elected Secretary of the Board at the Annual Board Meeting in October of 2005, elected as Vice President in October of 2007 and in the fall of 2008 was elected President of the Thomas County Community Foundation. 

Sherrie is a member and past chair of the Asset Development and Marketing Committee, and helped set up the Wiedeman Beautification Fund that will be used to improve the aesthetics of Thomas County.  Sherrie also helps with our annual Santa's Workshop events, Fair Breakfasts at the Thomas County Free Fair, and our many other events, as well as helping to raise the initial funds used to establish the TCCF in 2001.

Sherrie grew up in Colby and graduated from Colby High School, receiving her Elementary and Middle School Education Degree from the University of Kansas.  She is a member of the Sacred Heart Church and the KS Alumni Association.  

Sherrie helps out at her family's businesses: Triple T Farms, Inc. and Tubbs and Sons Ford Sales.  She and her husband, Brent, have a two young sons, Bryant and Brady.
