The Kids Can Do! fund is open to any individual and/or organization interested in Thomas County community betterment with youth participation. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age or must have adult supervision.
This fund is open for applications in a bi-annual distribution.
- Applications must be completed and returned to the TCCF no later than March 3rd. Awardees will be chosen soon thereafter and the project must be completed in time to submit a final grantee report by May 31st.
- Applications must be completed and returned to the TCCF no later than October 1st. Awardees will be chosen soon thereafter and the project must be completed in time to submit a final grantee report by December 31st.
Some Helpful Project Ideas:
- Planting flowers at the hospital, care home, or place of business
- Clean-up of any kind
- Reading visitations
- Kids welcome packets
- Special speaker or presenter
- School nurse in need of everyday supplies
- Playhouse built for Kids Port or preschool
**Projects must have youth participation in
execution of the project.**
Grant Recipient Obligations
- Public acknowledgement of the Foundation's support.
- Expenditure of the moneys within the time frame outlined in the grant proposal and for the purposes stated in the proposal.
- Repayment of any portion of the amount granted that is not used solely for the purposes stated in the grant application.
- Completion of an evaluation report by the designated date.
- Any special conditions as mutually agreed upon.
Contributions may be made to this fund by
anyone and at anytime.
