Leland Wilson

Leland Wilson joined the TCCF in December of 2007 and serves on the Finance & Investment Committee.   As one of our newest members, he has already began in his personal missions to help promote the Foundation and raise the endowement so we can continue to serve the community of Thomas County.  Leland says that, "I'm new on this committee and still learning about the organization, but I'm excited about helping in the development of Thomas County, especially the 4-H's of Thomas County."

Leland was born and raised on his family's farm just southeast of Colby.  Not only is he an active member of the TCCF, but Leland has also been a member of the Mingo Bible Church for 30 years, the American Quarter Horse Assoc. for 20 years, the United States Team Roping Championships for the last 8 years, and his family is active in the Solomon Valley 4-H.

Leland and his wife, Roxy, of 30 years farm and own Colby Livestock Auction.  They have four daughters: Kelli, married to Josh Gattis; Diane, married to Nathan Harter; Robin is attending college; and their youngest daughter, Lindsey, is currently attending Colby Senior High School.
