Shelly Myers joined our office staff in 2010 as the Executive Assistant.  She and her husband, Jim Myers, local 4th grade teacher, make their home in Colby, KS. They have 2 children: Laurel, a 3rd grader and Lincoln, a 1st grader at Colby Public Schools. Besides her work at TCCF, Shelly is also a successful Independent Sales Director with Mary Kay cosmetics.

Shelly’s family moved to Colby at the beginning of her 7th grade year at Colby Middle School in 1984. Her parents are Sharon (Dunn) Simpson of Abbeyville KS and the late Edwin L. Dunn, Sr. Both Shelly & Jim are Colby High School & Colby Community College Alumni. They both obtained bachelor’s degrees from Fort Hays State University.

Shelly’s friendly demeanor, organizational skills, and most importantly her passion for Thomas County and the people who live here, make her a valuable asset to our team.  We are happy to have her on staff and invite you to stop by the office to welcome her as we all work together to “improve the quality of life for all citizens of Thomas County.”
