The Terry Strutt Memorial Scholarship has been established by the generosity of the Darvin and Tammi Strutt family to help students of Logan and Thomas County attain funding for post-secondary education at Colby Community College. Students eligible for this $2,000.00 scholarship are high school seniors of either Logan or Thomas County planning to attend Colby Community College for at least one year.
To qualify for this scholarship, students must have attained at least a cumulative 2.8 GPA while in high school and must participate in at least one school sponsored extra-curricular activity while attending Colby Community College. Students who receive this scholarship will be expected to be on their best behavior both on- and off-campus, as well as serve as a role model to fellow students and community members.
The Terry Strutt Memorial Scholarship will provide one new eligible student per scholastic year with a $2,000.00 scholarship, half of which will be issued in the fall and the other half being issued in the spring semester upon submission of eligibility requirements. After receiving this scholarship for the student's freshman year, it will then be automatically renewed for the student's sophomore year if the student has attained a 2.8 cumulative Colby Community College GPA and still qualifies under the additional requirements.
