Thomas County Community Foundation | Quarterly Grant Applications
Due March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31
Are You a Qualifying Applicant?
Grants from the Thomas County Community Foundation are made to nonprofit organizations exempt from federal taxation under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; and Educational, Governmental, and Religious Institutions. Documentation supporting your organizations status is required at the time of application. Please keep this fact in mind, as a lack of this criteria means automatic denial for grant funds.
Grant funds are not awarded to individual persons or for-profit businesses.
Please note -- there are many nonprofit organizations that fall under a different IRS tax code that are not eligible. Please look into this prior to filling out your application.
The Thomas County Community Foundation does not award grant funds for operating expenses or salaries, programs that promote specific religious beliefs, political activities, travel expenses, grants to individual persons or basic programs that are the obligation of governments or schools. The Thomas County Community Foundation does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, or national origin. And, we expect grant applicants to hold similar standards.
In January of 2022 the Colby Kids Wrestling Club started the new year off with a bang. They applied for a Thomas County Community Foundation "Quarterly Grant".
They were awarded a $1,000 check from the Duane and Ethel Jean Woofter Wrestling Fund through the Thomas County Community Foundation.
