TCCF Accepts Fundraising Challenge from Dane G. Hansen Foundation

During the entire month of April, board members and staff of the Thomas County Community Foundation will be hitting the pavement as they accept a matching fundraising challenge to raise $50,000 from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation. Every dollar raised will be matched by Hansen Foundation, and if the goal is met, TCCF is eligible to receive up to $25,000 more for operating support.

There's no better time to support the Thomas County Community Foundation. Double your impact today by making a donation.

"We know there are countless worthy nonprofit organizations, schools, civic groups, and churches in Thomas County you could choose to support with your donation. But, did you know that by donation to the community foundation, you could support them ALL with one contribution? And, by donating in April, your donation will be matched $1 for $1 by the Dane G. Hansen Foundation.

"Our goal is to raise $50,000 by the end of the month and every one of those dollars up to $50,000 will be doubled. No matter the size, your donation will make a lasting impact on Thomas County and your favorite nonprofit organizations and events for years to come," said Kaaz.

Last year alone, between quarterly grants and and scholarships and funding from the Hansen Foundation, TCCF was able to award $165,000 to your favorite Thomas County organizations, civic groups, churches, schools and scholarship recipients in 2020. And, the potential to do so much more is incredible.

The Hansen Foundation recognizes that residents are the most knowledgeable about the needs of their own communities. Providing the opportunity for a community to create or build a sustainable pool of dollars that would be available to meet both current and future needs enables community members to confidently plan for the future of their hometowns. This matching challenge initiative puts the power into the hands of the people. The larger TCCF's endowment grows, the more we can do for our community.

TCCF will be capping the fundraising month off with a big event on April 30. Join us for a day of fun at Meadow Lake Golf Course. You can register for a team of four HERE. You can pay your team's registration fees or become a sponsor HERE.

We're so proud of the work we've done so far for our community. There is so much we can ROAR about and so much more we can do in the future.

Donations may be mailed to TCCF, 350 South Range, Suite 14, Colby, KS 67701 or given to a board or staff member in person. Or, you can donate securely by clicking on the "Donate" button at the top of this page or by going to: https://www.gnwkcf.org/donate-tccf.
